Battle Report: A Series of Unfortunate Events

Warcry; Gloomspite Gitz vs Untamed Beasts

The first battle was a contest of bad luck; the goblin archers had the misfortune to attack at dusk (so their ranged weapons became less effective each round) and while a red tide of bloodlust had fallen over the battlefield (increasing the number of melee attacks for all combatants.) The beasts, for their part, had the bad luck to have their weakest element targeted for assassination, and for that element to set up within hopping distance of the squig hopper, leaving them half-squished before they even took their first action.

Reinforcements arrived and dragged one of the archers to his doom with a harpoon, and fierce fighting took down the hopper eventually, but by then the damage was done, and the goblins scraped out yet another wretched, opportunistic, unworthy victory.

The combatants returned to the ruined town for a rematch. The Beasts had secured a massive gemstone and the goblins were determined to make it theirs. They did, hopping away with their ill-gotten gains and shit-eating grins on their horrible faces.

Hellboy Priming

Priming everything from the Hellboy box on a sunny day. I have a process in mind for these which I’m hoping will be very quick and very in-keeping with the theme.
